Jon Gingell

Jon Gingell UK Guitarist

I am a guitarist, technologist and educator based in London. I work in various roles in theatre - performing, programming, and copying for a variety of shows and transfers. I also teach at Southampton University and continue to provide improvisation workshops for schools and colleges, based on many years of teaching jazz and ensemble practice.

My musical background runs from Chicago blues through contemporary jazz, afrobeat and Brazilian music. I perform in a variety of bands and contexts - from acoustic duos to big bands - using a variety of primarily vintage gear and too many pedals.
